Konduit is seeking an experienced, creative and enthusiastic Project Manager for an immediate full-time position.
Candidates must be experienced with interfacing with clients, creating estimates, design and drafting, and the specificities of set-building/fabrication.
The position offers paid time-off and health benefits, with the salary ranging from $85,000-$105,000 based on skill and experience.
The Project Manager is responsible for Konduit projects from the planning stage through full execution. This role requires extended knowledge of fabrication/build methodology in relation to TV, Film, Print, Theater, Retail, and Experiential installations.
The PM analyzes the scope of work for an assigned project, devises an actionable plan, and delegates responsibilities to the team, ensuring the client’s vision is met. They create timelines, budgets, design decisions, change orders, and communicate with vendors. They lead day-to-day communications with clients, building enduring relationships. The PM works collaboratively with other production leads to deliver the job proficiently, on time, and within budget.
The PM must be an excellent communicator with clients, crew, and vendors. Good communication with the client helps projects go smoothly and keeps clients happy, ensuring they work with Konduit again.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 Year of experience leading a team
Proficiency in reading blueprints and shop drawings
Knowledge of construction and building materials in relation to our industry
Adeptness in providing written reports and direct feedback to management
Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends, as needed
Proficiency in Sketchup. Adobe Illustrator, and CAD software a plus
Working knowledge of Slack, G Suite for Business, and Project Management apps
Be a skilled planner, able to organize, delegate, assist in managing budget and schedule
Ability to work collaboratively, in a team environment
Have excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Demonstrate effectiveness in leadership with crew
Be well-organized, excellent at communicating, positive, and professional
